Emma Brown Owl

I love to be playful and experimental with work and I always try to be as imaginative as possible when answering briefs. I love drawing, exploring, painting, making, animating etc.

Vapid Kitten

Vapid Kitten is published quarterly and this will be the third edition, which will be going to print in January. The ‘zine is used as a platform for commentary on modern society. This is done through with the often very whimsical and quirky contributions of various artists and writers. Vapid Kitten currently houses photography, articles and creative writing.

Jamie Mills
Jamie Mills recently graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a First Class Honours degree in Illustration. Now based in York, his work draws influence from nature, structure and patterns to create narrative illustrations.

The Manchester Modernist Society

We will meet and gather, mooch, amble, collaborate, make connections, gently protest and point things out where we see fit. We will speculate, agitate, cogitate, publicise, dream and philosophise over afternoon tea, on walks, talks and various outings. All we need is for you to join in, keep us informed of your events and activities across and around the city and create some of our own for your delectation.

Mmopus

Mmopus books is an editorial project from illustrators
and visual artists Maïto Jobbé duval and Melanie Williams.
Through on-going self-published series and editions,
Mmopus attempts to put together a collection of inspiring collectables,
and to develop a body of narratives or sequential works. To some extent,
each publication is the result of an experimentation with visuals and written
words, often through collaboration, which results in an evocative storytelling.

The Mill Press


The Mill Press is an independent publishing and writing house, based in London and Manchester.
We publish a quarterly journal with a purpose to explore subjects of intrigue and ambiguity.
We also create and publish artist books, collections of short stories, photographic prints, poster design and hand made greeting cards using found objects.

Mr.PS


Mr.PS products are designed and screenprinted by hand by Megan Price in sunny Manchester.

Megan was led by her passion for print to set up Mr.PS to create an enticing range of merchandise using bright colours and classic graphics based on adventures at home and abroad.

Design inspiration comes from vintage signage, eating and drinking, and the great British seaside; using imagery from photos taken whilst out-and-about and delightful line drawings.
